For Thing Three the assignment asked that we become familiar wtih avatars and choose one for this course. I've tried doing this through yahoo avatars with no such luck. As another member posted, the only exporting that seems to be possible at this time is for Facebook. Am I missing something? I did a search for free avatars and downloaded one from a different site. I believe I've followed the process correctly as I've posted comments on other blogs and I see my chosen avatar there.
Here are instructions for your Avatar. (1)Go to avatars.yahoo.com. (2) Create your avatar. (3) Click on the "Home" tab at the top of the page. (4) On the lower right, there is a box labeled "Export/Download Avatar." (5) Click on "Export." (6) On the next page, you have the option to copy the image as a still image or copy the HTML code for your web page. The advantage of copying the HTML code is that the avatar will change on the webpage every time you update it. If you copy the code, select the "Design" link at the top of the blog. Select "Add a Gadget," and then select either HTML/Javascript or Text and paste the text (code).
